Calm Care for Kids helps relieve stress and over-arousal, common reasons children sleep poorly, by boosting the calming activity of GABA in the nervous system. Passionflower encourages both mental and physical relaxation, magnesium helps dial down arousal signals, and α-casozepine (Lactium®) attaches to calming receptor sites. Together these ingredients foster a feeling of calm and may support restful sleep in children.
Effects can begin soon after it is taken, although the timing differs from child to child. In adults, passionflower may produce calming effects within around 10 minutes. Consistent use at the right dose is important for the best outcome.
It can be given from one year of age. For younger children, it is best to talk with your Rainbow Medicine or Health Therapies Clinics practitioner about appropriate dosing.
Try mixing it into a banana and chocolate smoothie, banana-flavoured yoghurt, or custard to make it more appealing for children.
No. Calm Care for Kids is naturally sweetened with stevia, a plant-based sweetener, and is free from artificial colours and flavours.
