Rainbow Medicine will host an open house event on the last Saturday of the month for community members to visit the clinic, meet the team and learn more about the practice. The event runs from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm and is open to all.

Activities planned for the day include short clinic tours, free 15-minute consultations with available practitioners, a Q&A session with Dr Christine Shen, light refreshments and a kids' corner staffed by an early-childhood educator. Attendance is free; bookings help with catering numbers.

"The open house has been a tradition since we opened in 2019," said Dr Christine Shen. "It's a chance for people to step inside a place they might be curious about but unsure how to approach. Curiosity is good — and there is no pressure to book anything on the day."

Past open-house events have attracted between 80 and 150 community members. Visitors often arrive for the tour and stay for the Q&A, which has become the most popular element. Questions cover everything from how acupuncture works to what NDIS supports might look like in practice.
