Rainbow Medicine will host an international visiting practitioner for a fortnight-long programme of clinical observation, guest sessions and a public lecture. The visiting practitioner brings more than 20 years of international experience in fertility, IVF support, women's health and Chinese herbal medicine and joins the team as part of an ongoing global-exchange programme.
During the visit, Rainbow Medicine's in-house team will participate in joint case reviews and supervised observations. A limited number of patient appointments will be available with the visiting practitioner; bookings open one week before arrival and tend to fill quickly.
"International exchange is one of the most valuable forms of continuing professional development," said Dr Christine Shen. "Different training traditions ask different questions and notice different patterns. Spending time alongside a senior international colleague is a sharp test of our own assumptions."
The public lecture, free to attend, will cover the visiting practitioner's primary area of clinical interest. Topics, dates and the booking link are published on the practice's events page at /en/talks. RSVPs are essential because seating is limited to 60.
The visit is supported by Rainbow Medicine and does not increase fees for patients. Booking with the visiting practitioner uses the standard published fee schedule. Interpreters are available if required — speak with reception when booking.
